This will be held at 943 Madison Street, Albany, the home of Leonard Edmondson and Catherine Sutton. Please RSVP if you plan to come, snacks and tea will be served!

Catherine, co-founder of Albany’s first Resilience Circle (which is still going more than a year later) will introduce the idea of Resilience Circles with stories and group processes to give people a taste of what to expect.

Localcircles.org suggests a six- or seven-week curriculum that covers the economy, climate, and resource depletion in a context of self-empowerment, with group exercises and discussions that lead to bonding and a bunch of new friends.

The group may decide to continue meeting, on Fridays or another night.

Here’s more.

A Brit who came to the US in 1988 and found California and the Transition movement to be a perfect fit. Now my life is replete with a dear husband, a small but productive permaculture backyard, a loving family and a very full calendar of work I love.
