The Challenge
When T-Mobile opened its flagship store in New York’s wondrous Times Square, it saw an amazing opportunity to reimagine the in-store experience for the better. The new retail space was the perfect platform to tell the brand story to the masses and capture the hearts and minds of customers.
Far beyond showcasing its solutions and attaining sales, the company wanted to use the iconic location to create memorable, sensory experiences that delighted visitors and showcased the brand’s customer-centric values.

The Solution
With the customer front of mind, T-mobile made a plan: go above and beyond to create fantastic, memorable store visits that awakened customer senses: taste, smell, touch, vision and sound.
Catchy music already blaring out the store, the T-Mobile team contacted Refine Packaging with a vision. They wanted to create eye-catching, customized gift boxes for in-store customers to show their appreciation and inject fun into the purchasing experience.
Excited to help T-Mobile elevate the in-store experience, our team jumped in, providing free, expert advice on materials, dimensions, styles and design.
The T-Mobile team had one catch. They wanted their boxes as quickly as possible. Luckily, we were primed to deliver.
True to our commitment of delivering quality packaging at speed, we rapidly designed, manufactured and shipped T-Mobile’s customized packaging boxes.
In just one week, the boxes were delivered to the lights, glitz and glamor that is Times Square.
The Results
T-Mobile’s colorful box initiative was a roaring success and a cornerstone of the company’s flagship store experience.
Most importantly to us, T-Mobile was happy. As their Operations Specialist succinctly put it: “The boxes are amazing and very nicely made.” (Thanks Eric!)

The company has amazing prices for their products, and can do just about any customization you would want. The rep we worked with, Brian Moore, is excellent at what he does. The customer service and communication is stellar, and he made sure through the whole ordering and design process that we got what we wanted for our products. These guys are the best. They work with you every step of the way. They are not happy until you are happy. Quick updates on your project. Once you approve your design, they are manufactured and on your door step within 10 days. I had them make boxes for my product which are in bottles. The bottles fit perfectly in the box. Starting a new business project I was in the market for packing. I contacted well over 2 dozen printers. IF they even got back to me, they were less than helpful. I felt their prices were extremely high, with no support. Brian at Refine Packaging got back to me immediately. Helped me design my package. And their pricing was 1/3 the cost of the competitors. He followed the order thru the mail, to make sure I received it on time. Once it was delivered he reached out to make sure it was exactly how I wanted it.
